The Ancient Byzantines sure knew how to put on the bling!
1st Grade kid-artists went on an adventure to discover an ancient Byzantine Medallion. Like an archeologist we learned where it came from, what it was used for, and what it meant.
Then, we had a blast creating gold and gemstones!
Next, we used these gemstones to create circular patterns on our medallions and crowns.
Finally, it was "lights, camera, action!" for our jewelry fashion show!
