The North Elementary Art Gallery proudly presents our new & permanent display of kid-artist MASTERPIECES!
Over the past 5 years, North Kid-Artists have painted 5 large murals inspired by "Master Artists." We call these murals "master copies." Kid-Artists studied the lives and artwork of these Master Artists before working together to create these magnificent murals!
Last year, the Danville Community Educational Foundation awarded our art department with a grant. This grant paid for the creation of 5 frames. Mr. Perkin's, our principal's husband, generously constructed these frames, and Ms. Martin's second grade class painted them.
Students and Staff agree these framed murals look GREAT! Here are some pictures of our process!
