April 2015 North Elementary KID Artists created beautiful multi-colored fish scales after reading the wonderful book, "Rainbow Fish." (This book was one of my personal childhood favorites!).
Later in May, KID Artists created the fabulous blue paper. From there I created a "skeleton" from a tube of cardboard, four pool noodles, and lots of wire. After that, I wrapped the skeleton in the fabulous blue paper.
Then, during the summer art camp that I led, a former student of mine helped me assemble the eyes and smile of Rainbow Fish.
And today, Rainbow Fish proudly hangs in the North Elementary Art Studio!
