It took me five years to bring myself to do it. I've long feared the hideous, classroom-altering infestation.
You either love it, or you hate it.
I knew it would be an utter and absolute mess. Like a progressive disease, glitter gets everywhere and never-ever leaves.
Like sand, it gets into places you didn't think possible.
Was it worth the constant sweeping, the rug kicking, and the eye drops (a handful of kids and myself experienced the awful sparkle land on our eyeballs)?
Judging from the proud looks on kid-artists' faces: yes, yes it was.
