The Moment:

Dense summer humidity filled the air. Allergies and misgivings led to multiple failed attempts. I nearly called it a day. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. My heart whispered a prayer. I opened my eyes and again lifted my brush. My gaze refocused on colors and hues. Hope was renewed.
